Plug it in with a \u003ca href=\"\/hi\/search?q=stemma+qt+cable\u0026amp;narrow_by=\u0026amp;sort_by=relevency\u0026amp;page=1\"\u003eStemma QT cable\u003c\/a\u003e for instant rotary goodness, with any kind of microcontroller from an \u003ca href=\"\/hi\/collections\/arduino-store\"\u003eArduino UNO\u003c\/a\u003e up to a \u003ca href=\"\/hi\/collections\/raspberry-pi-store\"\u003eRaspberry Pi\u003c\/a\u003e to one of our QT Py's.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou can use our \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/adafruit\/Adafruit_Seesaw\"\u003eArduino library\u003c\/a\u003e to control and read data with any compatible microcontroller. We also have \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/adafruit\/Adafruit_CircuitPython_seesaw\"\u003eCircuitPython\/Python code\u003c\/a\u003e for use with computers or single-board Linux boards.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePower with 3 to 5V DC, and then use 3 or 5V logic I2C data. The INT pin can be configured to pulse low whenever rotation or push-buttoning is detected so you do not have to spam-read the I2C port to detect motion. It's also easy to add this breakout to a \u003ca href=\"\/hi\/collections\/solderless-breadboards\"\u003ebreadboard\u003c\/a\u003e - with six 0.1\"-spaced breakout pads - if you so choose.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFour solder jumpers can be used to change the I2C address - up to 16 can share one I2C bus!
