Viscose is produced from regenerated cellulose. It is a versatile fabric known for its softness, comfort and breathability, as well as the ease with which it can be draped. It can be dyed easily and is often used as a substitute for natural silk or cotton.

Georgette is a type of crêpe fabric that is sheer and lightweight, and has a dull, matte finish. In this saree, viscose fibres have been used to create the lightest and most effortless georgette.
